Ellis Steel Shores

The Ellis Heavy Duty Steel Lifting Shore provides temporary or permanent shoring support in heavy load applications in both commercial and residential structures.  Equipped with the Ellis MFG patented Thrust Bearing technology these shores can lift up to 10x more than standard screw jacks. Offered in various heights ranging from 10" to over 14' and with a safe load rating up to 56,000 lbs.  

The Ellis Light Duty Steel Lifting Shore is a patented adjustable structural support system incorporating a thrust bearing to reduce turning effort under load by 90%. These lifting shores can be used in temporary or permanent installations and offer safe load ratings up to 20,000 lbs. They are frequently used for additional support in crawl spaces and attics, and are also excellent for support under floors, ceilings, decks or staircases, as well as beams and slabs of wood, metal or concrete. The Light Duty Steel Shore is an adjustable support jack for temporary or permanent support. With up to 20,000 lbs of safe load capacity the Light Duty Steel Shore is a perfect solution for sagging floors, foundation issues, stabilize joist, additional support in crawl spaces, attics, ceilings, decks, staircases, wood, steel, concrete beams and slabs.  

The Ellis Stealth Lifting Shore is an adjustable structural support system designed to be both strong and narrow.  Each Stealth Shore has a max width of 3.5" and is able to fit and be sealed inside a standard 2x4 framed wall.  The patented Ellis Thrust Bearing Nut Assembly increases lifting capacity under load by up to 10x.  These lifting jacks can be used for temporary or permanent support loads up to a 20,000 lbs. 

The Ellis Light Duty Pivot Shore is a patented adjustable structural support system with flat plate pivoting ends designed to support a load at an angle.  The Pivot Shore has the patented Ellis Lifting Nut assembly that dramatically reduces friction while adjusting the length of the shore under load.  Each end of the Ellis Pivot Shore has a pivoting flat plate that pivots 45 degrees in each direction.  These lifting shores can be used in temporary or permanent installations.

The Ellis Big-B Ultra Duty Steel Lifting Shore provides temporary or permanent shoring support in ultra heavy load applications in both commercial and residential structures.  Equipped with the Ellis MFG patented Thrust Bearing Technology these shores can lift up to 10x more than standard screw jacks. Currently offered in one size with adjustment from 12" to 16" and with a safe load rating up to 80,000 lbs.

Extend the standard base or top plate of any Light Duty Steel Shore, Heavy Duty Steel Shore, Mini Jack, or 4x4/6x6 Screw Jack with the Base Plate Extension.  Hot rolled steel plate with matching mounting holes, relieved corners and baked on powder coat finish.  Includes 4 ea. 5/16" diameter x 1" long bolts and matching nuts to bolt plate to top or bottom of steel shores.

1" Diameter Steel Adjustment Rod is offered in lengths 12", 24", 36" and 60".  Used to gain extra leverage when in making height adjustment to the Heavy Duty Steel Shores and Bridge Jack product lines.   Simply place one end of the adjustment rod in any of the 4 (1.063" Dia.) holes provided on the Heavy Duty Steel Shores or Bridge Jacks.

3/4" Diameter Steel Adjustment Rods are offered in lengths 12", 24", and 36".  Used to gain extra leverage when making height adjustment to the Light Duty Steel Lifting Shores and Mini Jacks.   Simply place one end of the adjustment rod in any of the 4 holes provided on the Jack and turn.

The Ellis U-Head Top or shore saddle for Heavy Duty Steel Shores is designed to fit on all Heavy Duty Shores and secure to a horizontal 2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 4x4, 4x6, 4x8, 6x6 etc. lumber beam and joists.  Joist stabilization.

The Ellis U-Head Top or shore saddle for Light Duty Steel Shores is designed to fit on all Light Duty Shores and secure to a horizontal 2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 4x4, 4x6, 4x8, 6x6 etc. lumber beam and joists. Joist stabilization.

The Pivoting Top is intended to secure the Ellis Heavy Duty Steel Shore to the object being supported and will pivot up to 45 degrees.

The Pivoting Flat Plate Top is intended to secure the Ellis Light Duty Steel Shore to the beam being supported and will pivot up to 45 degrees.

The Ellis MFG Shoring Tripod is a simple and fast way to keep shores upright during the setup process.  It's all steel, its foldable for easy storage and transport, and it's removable.  The Shoring Tripod is designed to fit a wide range of post shores or shoring props from 1.5" up to a 3.5" nominal 4x4 Ellis Shore.

Maximize the stability and strength of Ellis Steel Shores with the Ellis Steel Shore Wedge Clamp Brace. Boost rigidity by fastening a standard 2x4 as a lateral brace anywhere on the shore. Easily secure the brace in position with a strike of a hammer.

The Ellis Flat Plate Top for Light Duty Steel Shores is a 3/8" thick steel plate with four 3/8" diameter mounting holes. This plate comes standard on all Light Duty Steel Shores.

The Ellis Flat Plate Top for Heavy Duty Steel Shores is a 8" x 8", 1/2" thick steel plate with four 9/16" diameter mounting holes. This plate comes standard on all Heavy Duty Steel Shores.
